Transportation Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year! On the following pages you will find general
bussing information. All students in grades 1 through 12 (with the exception of Perry Literacy Academy students) will receive notification for pick up and drop off locations prior to the start of the school year.

Due to the various program starting dates at Perry School, (Literacy Program on September 5, Kindergarten on September 6, and Preschool on September 24), as well as the continuous new student enrollments at Perry School, students attending Perry School will NOT receive bus information cards in the mail. Perry students will receive bussing assignments by attending Perry School orientation or calling Perry School
at (734) 714-1750 for their bus assignment. All Perry parents should be aware that pick up and drop off times may be adjusted throughout the year as new enrollees enter their programs.

All students should be at their assigned bus stop five (5) minutes before their assigned pick up time. Buses cannot return to bus stops for tardy students. Please take a few minutes to review the information provided in the Back to School Guide regarding the student's responsibilities when waiting for the bus, riding the bus, and exiting the bus. The rules are simple and must be enforced for the safety of all students riding a school bus.
