Food Service Lunch Prices / Breakfast

The Ypsilanti Public Schools Food Service Cafeterias, have a computerized cash register system. Parents and students can monitor the balances of lunch accounts. Students can pay daily or bring a check or money to deposit into their account. A parent or student can ask for a print out of all deposits and debits at any time.

Breakfast is served at all of our educational sites. Breakfast will usually be serves 1/2 to 1 hour before the start of class.

The School Breakfast Program (SBP) provides cash assistance to States to operate nonprofit breakfast programs in schools and residential childcare institutions. It provides nutritious, low cost or free breakfasts to school age children in public and private schools, public school academies, and residential child care institutions throughout Michigan.

Secondary Lunches: Baked fries this year ARE NOT part of the lunch and will cost $ .50 with a lunch, $1.25 without - per the new regulations.

Want to help your kids increase their abilities to learn? Get them in the habit of eating a nutritious breakfast each morning and they’ll be on their way to a better school day.

Ypsilanti Public Schools offers Universal Breakfast to ALL Students K-12. Breakfast will include a choice of 1 entrée, 1 Milk and 1 Fruit or Juice. Please have your child join us for a Nutritional Breakfast to get his/her day started.
