Renovation work began Monday, June 8 in several YPS buildings including Adams, Chapelle, Erickson, East, West and Ypsilanti High School. Crews were busy removing inventory, stripping carpet, removing ceilings and pulling up concrete. The work is being completed under the YPS "Update to Educate" bond that was passed by residents in August of 2007. Phase I of the bond was completed in September 2008 and included technology and facility renovations at Estabrook, Perry and Ypsilanti High School. For more information call (734) 714-1202.
