The Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes outstanding educational enhancement programs by awarding the Exemplary Educational Endeavors (E3) Awards. First grade Erickson Elementary teacher Gwen Guthrie and RCTC Computer System Technology teacher Mike Mitchell were two of the 2008 winners. They were recognized at the April 28 board of education meeting.
