Ten individuals were inducted into the Ypsilanti High School Athletic Hall of Fame Friday, Sept. 19, 2008. The ceremony took place at the high school and during half time the men and women were escorted onto the football field to be recognized during halftime. Those inducted were: Dottie Davis, class of '71, Ralph Deetz,coach 1945-52, Gary Hawks, class of '52, David Hill, class of '49, Fritz Kessler, class of '51, Tom Manchester, class of '59, Korinth Patterson, class of '98, Lawrence Perry, class of '48, Larry Powell, class of '73 and Charles Ramsey, class of '79.
