2012-13 Perry CDC School Improvement Plan

Welcome to Perry Child Development Center!

We believe that early childhood is a critical period in a child’s development. Recognizing the importance of these years, Perry provides programs that are uniquely designed to meet the developmental needs of every child.  Children will experience a stimulating and nurturing environment in which they can explore and discover as they grow socially and academically.  We believe that a close home-school-community partnership promotes children’s learning and success at school. We encourage families to become actively involved in their child’s learning both at home and school.

Ready for Kindergarten?

Dear Ypsilanti Community Schools Families

A recently enacted Michigan law amended the Revised School Code (MCL 380.1147), changing the minimum age requirement for a child enrolling in kindergarten. New legislation has changed the “cut-off” date and will be gradually phased-in over three years.  Click here for the new minimum age requirement.
