Utilizing sports as a tool to motivate students to complete and achieve in their school work was a successful at Chapelle Community School. Under the coaching of teacher Jason Malloy and paraeducator Kevin Harris, the six-week program obtained its objective and many teachers said students were more conscientious about their school work because they wanted to play in the after-school basketball league.
