After researching
all the schools in the area, we decided on Chapelle Community School. We
could not be happier. The Chapelle staff made us feel
like family. Many words can be used to describe the people
(and atmosphere) at Chapelle; friendly, helpful, caring, dedicated,
committed, experienced and warm. We were welcomed into more than
a school, we became part of a community. Our daughter
has become a more confident student, athlete and child and the Chapelle
staff works hard to help each child achieve to their greatest potential. In
addition to providing a well-rounded education, Chapelle teaches
and fosters healthy eating habits, proper manners, respectful behavior,
social interaction and team work. We love the staff at Chapelle,
but more importantly, our daughter loves her school. |

Nestled in the Normal Park Neighborhood, this community school has a high rate of parental participation and embraces local residents as stakeholders in the educational advancement of students. Whether it's a community service project designed to teach students' good citizenship or the Chapelle Cotillion Ball that emphasizes etiquette, Chapelle is grooming students for responsible, productive and successful lives. Chapelle is one of two elementary schools that offer Spanish language instruction to students.
