East Middle School sixth graders in Gloria Voght's science classes spent Earth Day, April 22, engaged in a number of projects to promote environmental conservation. The students planted a Redbud tree, bushes (that will bloom in the schools colors-red and white) and flowers. Posters were made to convey a variety of messages to raise awareness of global concerns and actions that can be taken to preserve the planet.
