Pride shines bright on the East side where students finished in the top ten during the Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl competition and tested their academic prowess in the Math, Social Studies, Science and Language Arts Olympiad. The competitive edge spills over into the sports arena where students can display team spirit along with gaining confidence through athletic triumphs. Students learn respect and ownership while engaging in community service projects. The students in this Adequate Yearly Progress achieving school will cross this threshold equipped and ready to make their mark at the high school.
