Seventh grade students at West Middle School combined a math lesson in Pi with sweet revenge, Friday, March 14. Students who memorized the first 50 digits of Pi were given the reward of throwing a cream pie in the face of their teacher of choice. Over a half dozen students completed the challenge and enjoyed seeing their teachers take a pie for Pi!

As part of the lesson on Pi, students were treated to pie that was donated by parents. Students Mackenzie Foltz, left and Anna Gustafson, right load Teven Thomas' pie up with whipped cream.
