Former Detroit Pistons player and coach, Ray Scott, visited with the eighth grade students at West Middle School, Friday, March 7. The visit was sponsored by the Athletic Host Committee, a group of eighth grade student leaders. Scott talked to students about the importance of maintaining a positive reputation, staying on track in school and looking out for one another. He also shared with the students his experiences as an NBA player.
