Ypsilanti High School has chartered an Interact Club. Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 14 to 18. The club is designed to help youth develop leadership skills, personal integrity, the value of individual responsibility and hard work and advancing international understanding and goodwill. The club was organized this spring under the guidance of the Ypsilanti Rotary Club and already the students have completed several community service projects. The students will also participate in the May 17 Ypsilanti Pride Day, working along side the Ypsilanti Rotary Club members at the Riverside Arts Center.
