YPS is poised to install emerging technology throughout the district thanks to a visionary community that said yes to a 49.1 million dollar bond. While the bond will also be used to upgrade buildings, the catalyst for the bond was providing students with high functioning, cutting edge tools to maneuver in the technology age. Technology savvy students will have the ability to access resources offered not only within our country but globally. Items under consideration for classroom purchases include: Smart boards, new computers, interactive tablets, hand held devices and distance learning opportunities. Outfitting our classrooms with interactive answering response systems and other progressive educational components are just some of the features that will soon grace our learning resource centers.
