MiSCAI

All students will be taking a Michigan survey in the next few days. Surveys are available at the school for your review.

·      9th & 11th grade students will be taking the Michigan Climate Survey.

·      10th grade students will be taking the Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth survey.  

Only parents who do not want their student to take these surveys should sign and submit an opt out form.

Coordinated Health Team

The Ypsilanti Public School’s Coordinated Health Team has been meeting in continued support of our students emotional, social, and academic growth.  This team is comprised of members from several community organizations.  This team meets every other Monday at Ypsilanti High School.  If you are interested in more information or providing support for our Coordinated Health Team please contact Mrs. Michelle Rose-Armstrong at mrosearmstrong@ypsd.org

Ypsilanti/Willow Run Advisory Meetings

Advisory meetings for the consolidated district are ongoing.  Community, parent, and student participation in these groups is valued and welcome.  In addition to participation in the advisory groups, forums have been scheduled to collect community input.   For the most up-to-date information regarding Ypsilanti Community Schools, our consolidated district, please go to www.together4ss.org.

Support in Time of Need

If your family is experiencing difficulty with housing, including loss of housing, doubled up, or living in unsafe conditions there is help available.  The Education Project provides a variety of services to students and families identified as living in a temporary housing situation.  Please contact Ms. Vandemark, School Social Worker, at 714-1053 or 714-1508, with any questions, concerns or to determine eligibility.
